Linux boot disk creation problem

Trying to create a boot disk, new to redhat (installed corel linex and used it for a few months). I looked all on the forums, and went to the linux administration guide and tried the command there:
"d:\dosutils\rawrite.exe -f d:\images\boot.img -d a: -n"
assuming that my floppy is "a" and cdrom is "d" which it is. Am I missing something here? Thanks

hey buddy, on the RH 9 disks at least its boot.iso not .img

are you trying to make disc on a windows machine?

ya i just wanted to make sure thats was what he was doing and he wasn't just using wrong commands

ya it is in dos, but I did the whole like not in MS-DOS like it asks for. So it is in DOS, and I tried several floppies, and several ways of typing it. Going to do a dual boot Linux/ 2k server. Well at least is the command I am using from the linux site correct?

Hrmm I take it from the no response that the command is right. Well if it is correct then why is it not working for me?

well figured it out, it was a cdrom drive that would not read the disc correctly. Tried it on another machine and it worked fine. THNX
