Dos window in Win XP

I have a friend who runs a program for his payroll in DOS. He would just open up a window in Win 98 and it would go full screen, he would do his thing and when he closed the window, it would go back to windows without a problem.

I recently built him a new system and installed Win XP.....well, the dos window opens but it's so tiny and i can't get it to even come close to full screen.

So my question is this......can you make the window larger somehow, or....how do you run a dos program full screen or even outside of windows? Thanks.

Right click the top bar and choose Properties...in the first tab there will be a choice between Window and Full Screen
