Web Page Design,

I am embarking upon a web page ( once again ;D ), been a while since I made one, and the technology has changed a little.

I plan to use Frontpage to manage it,

Potential name is;

The Operating Theatre

Content;

Your Operation
Your Child's Operation
and so on..........

I need tips and tricks, ideas for pictures / content and so on. I know some of you folk have superb web pages, I have seen them!!

Pls Help

I'm assuming you're regarding a surgical operation.

You could get together a list of links on the topic, safety concerns etc. If its regarding children you definately want to keep a lot of positive information in there, like great success stories. Kids go in very scared many times so definately need positive reinforcement

I wouldn't suggest too many pictures of the actual operation

Maybe for the adults side though dunno...

What kind of surgery? Or is it just general information?

General information, vass,

This is my speciality, I work in the 'operating room' as you guys call it!

I have anaesthetised more kidz than that, so I kinda know my stuff.

I can provide general information, (and in depth stuff if requested) on any form of surgery.

For example, my 3yr old (pride and joy) has his vaccinations without fear, issue, nor tears, since they have been explained to him fully. He has even had a general anaesthetic whilst in my arms, completely calmly!

It's the design, not the content that escapes me!

I do not reccomend using FrontPage. I made my first page with Front Page, but I realized it sucks because it always messes up the code.

The software I use (and I know im not the only one) is dreamweaver.

And I wouldn't suggest a heavy graphic site, just make a nice, simple design

FrontPage works, just edit it with a text editor before doing anything with it.

Thinking about it, textpad is probably the best for that aspect

Yep Dreamweaver will do the job wonderfully.

and yes, a nice simple design always wins.
