E-Mail Timeouts (Related to my router)

Hi, ever since I installed my router to connect both my PCs to the Internet, I've had errors checking my e-mail, recieving e-mail, and sending e-mail. Most of the errors are timeouts saying the server was unresponsive. (I get this on both my primary ISP and hotmail account). Anyone know a solution to this problem?

What router are you using? It could be a number of things. It could be the program or operating system, or it could possibly be a the configuration of the router.

Does you router have a built-in firewall? Are you running a software firewall on your computer?
