NEED HELP VERY FAST!!!!

Hi!
So sorry but my english isnt very good because i am geman...
so i have got a big problem! Im on a lan-party and i cant play any games because i cant see the others playing the gameslist.
I got this problem only in Warcraft 3, Will Rock and Battlefield. Half Life and Elite Force are working pretty well. My thoughts were that its delaying on the ipx protocol because i think all those games ause this one and hl acn use tcp/ip and ipx... whatever id be happy if you answer very fast. Thanks.

WC3 and Battlefield can work with just TPC/IP so you shouldn't need IPX for those. You may just want to remove IPX to prevent problems.

If you need IPX a comon problem is with the computer incorrectly sensing the frame type, so you may want to set it manually.

Goto Network Connections, select properties of your NIC, the properties of IPX, then change Frame type from Auto to 802.2 or 802.3 depending on what others are actually using (they all need to be using the same frame type to communicate via IPX). BTW, 802.2 is actually the newer/better version.

the first thing that springs to my mind is making sure your the same version as they are. Wether that means they are older versions of the game or they have patched there games you might check that out.
