Welcome to TechIMO

You want close captioning for what?
your tv?
DVD Software?

Or are you watching a downloaded movie in kazaa lite?
If you want to use actual features, I'd suggest watching the movie in Windows media player instead. (kazaa uses windows media player codecs, so it will play the same but you'll get the functionality of the full player).

FYI I'd guess most cases any downloaded movies probably wont' include the CC.

if it was encoded with that codec then you need that codec to play it bac. chances of whoever encoded it including cc is low...very low. codec packs work fine in wmp you just reen to install but i dont know about that one (many codecs are not profesional jobs and are pushed out beofre they're really ready) or what people are using to put stuff on kazaa these days (you could have wrong codec)
