HELP!! unable to boot. Disk Read Error.

At first my NTLDR was missing and would not load. I tried to fix it with fixboot and it didn't work.

Then i read something about copying sys.c to c: but that only made things worse.

After that the comp loads up saying a disk read error has occurred.

Now when I go into recovery console and type DIR for my drive it says "an error occurred during directory enumeration."

When i try to install XP it says i have to format becase the current filesystem is unknown.

How do i fix this without formatting?!!? I need serious help on this!! Thanks for whoever replies.

there where alot of threds about missing ntldrerror awhile ago - search the bords and you should find em

That problem doen't apply to me anymore. I have a new problem now =(
