Win2k error, what is this?

Anyone know what this error is all about? Or more importantly, just what needs to be done to fix it?

Outpatient:

Oh yeah, seen this one before...

I've dealt with this issue in Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

It has to do with group policies and roaming profiles.

The following link will take you to the Knowledge base to help you with your fix.

Also double check permissions on your profile. Make sure that the user and system both have full control.

The system account needs full access to almost everything for it no to throw errors.

While I am thinking about it make sure that "local service" and "network service" have read and execute permission on the system folders. That will cause all kinds of weirdness as well.

Well, thanks guys. I appreciate the help. However, after tooling around Microsoft's web pages for an hour or so, I realized that I should have started my search for a solution where I always do....Google.

And sure enough, the #1 result of my search for the phrase "unload your registry file" was this page. Obviously I was not alone in experiencing this issue. It worked like a charm. All fixed. 8^)
