PC-Cillin: 1700+ running like a 233Mhz
Anybody else use this program? I just recently installed it. And for the first few days, I didn't notice a major loss in my system. But yesterday and today has been horrible. I can not do more than one thing without the system acting like a P233. I have to exit PC-Cillin to even multitask Outlook & IE. Heck, this beast has no problems encoding an MPEG4 while browsing (of course the encode uses 100%, but is smart enough to give me what I need when I set it's priority low). And it's not scanning during this, as even setting active scanning to off it still occurs. The only thing that has changed since this monsterious drain is I finally successfully scanned every file on my system early yesterday. Since then, PC-Cillin has taken over my resources.
