Spybot has met it's match !!??!!??
So I was reading this other thread where someone was having difficulty with their browser. They said that they coudl not get their "designated home page" to stay set after rebooting or shutting down. It always seemed to change back to "about:blank". Someone suggested they might have a trojan or virus and to download "spybot" and let it do it's thing. I identified with the first persons plight as even though I have cable it still seems that it's slowed way down lately and my designated home page changes all the time.
So I try to go to that sight and IE automatically shuts down, and not just in that window, all windows on line. So the version I have won't let me on that site. After some checking, I found this to be true of quite a few other sites as well.
I decided to look in the registry by running "regedit" but all that happens is I get this message that there are no errors in my registry and it won't even let me in to look at it ????
Any ideas of how to solve this ??
