Systems Monitor or display prblems???????

I hope someone can help me. I bought a game and it wouldn't run on my pc so I contacted the manufacturer and they told me to update my display drivers which I did. Now I can be on my pc and all of a sudden my monitor just turns off. Not my pc just the monitor. I just turn it back on and it will stay on for a few minutes then it turns off again. What can I do about this? it isn't the monitor. I have tried another one and got the same results. HELP!!!!

What OS, video card, driver version and other system info? There could be other drivers at work here such as the chipset.

Just a shot in ther dark, but try this:
Right click on the desktop and select "Properties".
Click on the "Screen Saver" tab.
Click on the "Power" button.
On the next screen, make sure that "Turn of monitor" is set to "Never" or anything longer than 1 minute.

are you still having the problem?? have you found out your motherboard or any of the other info? you can download a program like belarc advisor that will tell you all the components installed on your computer. Other than that you'll need to open the case and look inside. I'm assuming this is not a dell or Compaq? or a pre-manufactured computer?

when the monitor goes off does it power off? the light on it goes out or does it just go blank and the light changes from green to amber.? If its powering off then you need to check the power outlet or surge suppressor

Food

This is what I found. Is this what you need? Yes, when the monitor turns off it goes completely off. The green light goes off and I have to turn it back on but it comes right back on. I believe it started doing this after I updated my display drivers. I don't really know. But it started doing it all of a sudden. Thanks for any help you could give me. I really appreciate it!!
