Thumbnail photoshop question...

In Photoshop I created a "Multiplicity" picture of me standing, and sitting around my kitchen table. It looks awesome, but the problem I am having is that the thumbnail that shows up is only one layer rather than the whole Merged Photo.

I did it by using layers of course, and was wondering why this would happen. I thought I merged the photo after I was done, and then saved a a JPG file, but the thumbnail still shows just one layer rather than the whole picture.

Any help is appreciated.

Perhaps you could make the thumbnail in something other than photoshop? Post the whole thing and I am sure someone would be glad to make a thumbnail.

I am sorry, let me clarify... when viewing the picture in Thumbnail view in Win XP, what info is it looking at in the file(JPG, Gif, whatever) that makes it only see one layer?

I do not want to know how to make a thumbnail. I want to know how to make it look at the right data so it shows the right picture for the thumbnail view.

well, when you click on the picture... does it show the right one? with the layers?

ive seen xp do wierd things with thumbnails before, exactly what you describe, the tnail is the original basically, and the actual image even in jpg is different
