My PC hangs right before I try to connect with my DSL after booting Windows. If I wait about 2 minutes after booting it doesn't hang. What's causing this to happen?
Both my PCs do it. I'm running Windows XP Home Edition.
This happens to me a lot. It takes forever to start up. I re-installed windows and it booted a LOT quicker. I think this is the best bet for you to get a faster boot time.
dont reinstall windows just edit msconfig by clicking start run and typing msconfig.
click the startup tab and uncheck all the programs u dont want to load at startup.
this will speed up the startup a lot!
