Kids Cannot view animated items ????

I hope this is in the right place....

I have just built a new P4 system and now when I goto a site/forum now I cannot view animated avatars or whatever ???

I have checked in the internet options to advanced to the view animations tab and it is checked,I unchecked it and rebooted ,nothing...

Any other ideas on how to fix this ???

I am no PC guru by any stretch of the imagination, hence me asking all you great minds!!!!

by any chance are you running zone alarm? if so go to the privacy option then go to ad blocking. by default animation is blocked unless you uncheck it.

If you can see Creatures avatar moving, then you can see animations! Or at least some. Try going to http://www.homestarrunner.com and see what comes up.

Make sure the "Play animations in web pages" is checked if you unchecked it and then just hit apply.

Open IE -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Multimedia -> make sure "play animations in web pages" is checked -> apply

Also maybe try emptying your cache and setting the "check for newer versions of stored page" up a notch or two (i have mine to check every visit)...
