Systems Help Me! Music

How can I separate singer's voice from the music. I have an mp3 file i want to separate singer's voice and add my own music. Please help me. Thanks.

I don't think you can do that with mp3. You can do that with MIDI

You can find some programs that can help, but I've heard they aren't very good (they cut out the voice as best they can, and so the midrange can suffer). Do a google for them, and look around at www.download.com .

You can, just gotta convert to .wav first. There are some free programs out there that can cut out music/voice. But what you pay for is what you get. One of the best things is Sound Forge 6.0. It can cut with minimal midrange loss. But like any good program, it costs and take while to learn.
