5.1 doesn't work
My step dad just got some new 5.1 z-680's and 5.1 doesn't work, when we test the speakers they work (With the z-680's test function) but music doesn't play from them (The back speakers)

WinXP (With 5.1 set in cpanel)
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz (Set to virtual 5.1 and 5.1 speakers in it's cpanel)

We are using winamp and it should send 5.1, but it is not, what can be wrong here?

I am not sure about about the turtle beach cards, but on my 5.1 setup most music only plays on my front speakers with subwoofer support. DVDs on the other hand play 5.1. Have you tried DVDs yet?

hey radar, if u wanna play 5.1 music then use the directsound output plugin on winamp instead of the waveout one
