Sound problem

I noticed a week ago that when I put in a music cd that it was playing in slow motion. The cd was brand new and I thought it was the cd's fault. I got another cd and tried to play it again and I still got the slow motion thing. Then after that all of my sounds were in slow motion, any idea what the problem is?

try new drivers for your sound card

do u have ur cd drive set to quad speed read, ? sometimes if its atthe lowerst it will read slowly

It may have been something on the first cd that your drive didnt like.
The first thing I would try is Remove drivers for the sound card, In safe mode. Reboot and re-install the drivers you were using before the problem.. Don't check it with the new cd., use a known cd to try it.
