saving outlook (xp's) email acount settings

I probably missed it but I've searched here and at m$ and cant find an answer.

how does one save/export/import outlook 2002/xp's email account settings? I can do it with no problems at all using any of the other outlooks but with outlook 2002/xp cant so it.

I'm not talking about personal folders, archives, etc. I have no problems with them. But when I reinstall outlook I'm tired of having to re-enter my email account settings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HI Rico,

It appears that MS left this feature out with the 2002/XP Office package. Dunno what they where thinking. Probably $ signs.

OL: You Cannot Import or Export E-mail Accounts with .IAF Files

It appears it only works if the accounts are already on the computer and its not being used on a fresh install. Really sorry on this one. Perhaps if the accounts were on another computer such as a back up disk (a small one) or a server or another computer in the network they might be possible to import onto your box, but if its a standalone box I don't see any other options.

You could try the files and settings xfer wizard. I don't remember if it does that alone or not.

Just ran thru it and it looks like it wants to do all or nothing. It was worth a look.
