Welcome to TechIMO.

There's been talk of the Zalman sinks being quite.
I have no personal expeirence with them but there has been some decent reviews.
I don't know about OC abilities though.
Check them out;

The glacialtech "igloo" line of heatsinks are VERY quiet and they cool sufficiently.

I'm currently using the 2320 model on an xp1700 processor.

the 2320 will cool SLIGHTLY better than stock, but probably not much... It's just a SUPER quiet heatsink.

That Thermaltake TR2-M2 is a nice heatsink too, it'll cool better than the 2320, but it'll be slightly louder.

It's hard to say which one would be better... What processor is it going on??

glacialtech silent breeze is the quietest hsf combo out . it is 19dba .... newegg sells out fast when they get them in stock .

cheap fans can be found at www.nexfan.com , www.svc.com and www.directron.com has some nice 92mm fans for .39 cents each

Hey speedyvision I use a thermaltake volcano 9 and hooked up the variable speed dial thing.

I'm running an AMD 2500+ @ 2.08G and run the fan @ ~3000RPM and it's pretty quiet. If I run that volcano 9 at full tilt (what is it about 4500-5000) its really annoying but at the slower RPM I don't hear it I hear my P/S fan more and I run temps from about 42C to a high of 56C (it's been hot the last couple days).

I would suggest getting a volcano 9 they are relativly cheap and do a good job.
