Anyone know anything about Aopen PC?

Hi all again, I have another small project going, not sure if this post applys to this area or not,

what I have is a PC thats an Aopen, it has a mother board that is a AP59S, pentium cpu, 233MHZ 80 Mb Ram. 20 gig HD
win 98 O/S

i shut down after doing a fresh install of win 98 and now when i turn on the pc it tells me :

KEYBOARD IS LOCKED OUT- UNLOCK THE KEY

I can't get past this even to get into my BIOS setup, i tried to reset my CMOS and did, so it told me so. But what the heck does the message mean and why is it coming up, I thought it was the keyboard so I tried a known good on from another pc and still thats all I get at start up, I even tried to start with one stick of ram to all of them, this is a trip!

Try unplugging the key-lock cable from the motherboard.

Hey,
I'm guessing that the AOpen is the brand name of the case. One of my systems I built had a Aopen sticker because its a case... hope that helps

sounds to me as tho its some sort os security feature...I've never ran into anything like that for a bad keyboard or and sort of keyboard issue...when you boot try holding down the delete key or f1 key...other than that have you read the manual for the board? if you don't have it it can be found here http://english.aopen.com.tw/products/mb/AP59S.htm

I think you are right about it being a case name, I have the manuel but its not much of a help. I tried hitting the delete ans f1 button, but not a thing, this is one of the dumnest things ive ran across...

There is display, but can 't enter BIOS Setup.
a. For checking if the keyboard works properly, press the <Num Lock> key to enable/disable the Num Lock function, and check if the LED will ON and OFF accordingly.
b. Check if Turbo Switch was released, don 't use Turbo Switch before system boots. (In fact, there is no Turbo function after Pentium machine. Now Turbo Switch usually acts as Suspend Switch.)
Try another keyboard.

hello again, gave it a shot and the same thing, keyboard is locked out- unlock the key
