You can simply take an available power plug and put it into the card. Or, you take the plug out of your dvd rom, and plug it into the wire that came wiht the card. Put one end into the dvd, and the other into the card.

Don't use the drivers that came with the video card. Remove the drivers, then with your basic video wihout drivers, go to pny's website and get the drivers there. That should fix the problem.

No problem. I also have 56k, but I am getting 2 way cable on August 14th. Hope you enjoy your FX5200 Ultra. I sure like mine a lot.

2 way cable ??? lol.....i asked when they thought cable would be out here in the country and they said....maybe in 2 to 3 years...they said move to town....lol...naw nothing like the country....and its only 27 miles to town so i thought ISDN may be a choice. the games are lots better on this new card....no glitches , a lot more smoother to. good thing i joined this site. otherwise id proberly put it in my junk collection box . lol...

I also have the FX 5200. The drivers that came with it totally sucked, but when I got the unified drivers specifically for the FX cards from NVIDIA's web site, everything worked great! You need those FX drivers, which work hand-in-hand with the FX cards and DirectX 9.
