Im New to all this anyways....i didnt get how to install the power cord from the video card to the dvd to power ? after i installed the card my screen was doubled i couldnt read or do anything so i shut the power off took out the card and put my Riva tnt 64 pro back in...but this power connecter i think needs to be installed or not ? and how do i do it ? hope ive explained this right.
for reliable performance, it must be connected. you should have recieved a molex adapter, take that, connect it to the card, and then to the dvd drive, with the remaining connector, connect it to the psu.
What company is your card made by? I have a GeForce FX 5200 and it doesn't have any sort of connector on it aside from the AGP connector. No cords, no prongs, no slots, nothing.
