what's MD IE Pluging?

Hello,

I want to know what "MD IE plugin" is?

It seems to be slowing down my computer.

When my computer is running slow i go to task manager and i see under applications --> MD IE plugin.
When I end that process everything runs fine.

I never noticed this plugin before.

is that md.exe or winy.exe? If not, what is the file name & directory in which it is running from? It's probably a nasty. This page [ http://www.lafn.org/webconnect/mento...p/PENINDEX.HTM ] says it's an adult content dialer.

Disable it! Are you in 98 or XP? If so, perhaps you can uncheck it in the STARTUP tab of MSCONFIG [from RUN type: MSCONFIG]. And double check your registry, be sure to remove it from any run folders and even search to be sure it's not hiding elsewhere. Then delete it's directory (unless it's hiding in a system or other program directory, then just delete the file).
