Kazaa lite ports?

I finally got my BEFSX41 router working and now whenever I'm having trouble downloading stuff off kazaa. It seems users I am downloading from are contineually being disconnected / cut off. Since this jsut seemed to be a problem after i hooked up the router im pointing my finger at it. Do I need to some how forward/open up some sort of port so this works better? I even tried enabling the routers DMZ host which is sopposed to have no restrictions and hooking my computer up to it, but it still has the same probs. Could anyone tell me what is going on and maybe explain to me how to solve the problem?

hmmm try to port forward 1214 both TCP and UDP. I believe that if you didn`t touch Kazaa lite, thats the default port.

But it is strange since you don`t need to port forward anything to download.

I finally got a new router b/c the old one just didnt seem to work. Now using a linksys BEFW11S4. Internet seems to work great, also donwloading from normal site, but im still having the same probs with kazaa lite.

I can get connections to start out "fast", say 50k/s, but then the connection seems with that person seems to sorta freeze with that person, and the average continually crawls down
