Cutting file

I`m trying to cut the credits title at the end of a movie, though how do I do this? I tried with VirtualDub, but when I click save as AVI it gives me a 1.5GB files....how do I save it in the same compression that it was originally?

Thanks

Nandub or Virtualdub should allow you to crop and save, ive done it quite a few times.

Do you have video set to Direct Stream Copy?

I'm not aware of any DVD players that possess a hardware decoder for Divx and Xvid.

Your best bet will be to burn the part you want back to a CDR in Svcd or similar format that your DVD player can decode.
