At Home Router Disconnects After some time

well my problem is i just got my new LinkSys Router (BEFSR41 V.2.1) and hooked it up and installed perfectly but when i get on the net and stay on for a bit of time say 7 hours, and if im doing something important i'd get a bubble in the bottom tray saying "A network has been Uplugged" and my AOL, AIM, MSN MESSERGER disconnects, and when i go straight to internet explorer it opens the page but it still say unplugged and a few seconds later it reconnects, and i have connect on demand set to 9999mins cause i want it on always on type. and back when i was just using my DSL Modem it would disconnect alot and i called up verizon and found that the NIC card setting was set wrongly, it was on AUTOSENSE and they said to change it to 10BASET and that didn't disonnect me any more, should i change it to another setting since its coming from the router to pc ? please respond back Soon A.S.A.P
