ga-7n400

Hi everyone,
Man I haven't been here for a while, but now I have a problem.
Heres the situation
I have the new gigabyte ga-7n400-l1
with an asus v9280td geforce 4 256mb
crucial 528 mb pc2100
wd 80gb 8mb cache

the computer freezes when it wants to, like for instance when I put something in my cd rom and try to install it it just stops responding or when i try to access the device manager it also stops responding but at the same time internet explorer as well as the internet works

I dont know whats wrong so if anyone can help..i would appreciate it

problem solved,

anyone who has the ga-7n400, a word of advice, do not connect anything to that 4 pin square connector thats on the board even though it says to in the manual.
