XP MP, Palomino, or T-Bred?

I just bought a PC off ebay, here's the link
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ory=31508&rd=1

Which 2100 is it? I want to figure out how to overclock it, but I need to know the exact one. I haven't recieved the pc in the mail yet. Thanks!

There's no way of telling till you read the code on the chip.

Anything over a 2000+ is a TB. Right?

It doesn't say that it's a tbred. It says the mobo will handle a tbred:

AMD Athlon XP 2100+ CPU with QuatiSpeed architecture
EZ-Upgrade to AMD "XP/Thoroughbred"* CPU upto XP2600+

From reading that it sounds like it may be a Palomino. A 2100 can be a Pally, a Tbred A or a Tbred B.

Yup the 2200 was the first Tbred, but... there are two Tbreds. The Tbred A doesn't OC worth a Sh*t, and runs hot. That's why they went back to the drawing board and came out w/ the Tbred B and an entirely new core. The Tbred B overclocks quite well.

Let us know how this system turns out. I've been watching this seller for awhile and am interested in their products. Every once in awhile, they let one of those combos go for as little as $42.00 for an XP1800+ barebones. Shipping is a little steep @ $48.00 but look what you would get for $90.00
