I was having a little problem with my computer freezing repeatedly, so I rebooted for the millionth time (and I did to a scan disk and defrag...just incase). It hung on the screen "Csum error...yadda yadda...settings .......blah blah" I cant remember all of what it said (I am not a rocket scientist...but manage to make my computers work when I build em...go figure) Anywho, so I went into the bios...looked at my CMOS settings etc etc...noticed the processor speed was wrong... I set it back to what it was ( was 100/100...supposed to be 133/133) And rebooted....and POOF...nothing...no booting at all...
The motherboard...heavens I cant remember what it is off hand. The processor is a athelon 1700 with 256 ddram...crappy onboard sound and geforce 2 video...I built this about 2 months ago.
Any hints? Or is my puter really dead!!!??
