Nero Burning Rom Error

I am trying to burn a music cd with Nero Version 5.5.10.42 and the burning window comes up, but then I get an error. The error is: "Could not perform start of Disk-at-once". I just started having this problem when I upgraded to the new version.

Then uninstall it, and do a fresh install from the CD. Perhaps an archived update would help you out if your CD is ancient.

i had the same problem i think it has to do with ur settings, i notice that on my other computer works fine but on one of them i have several rec. programs installed and thats the one i get that error. so what i'm saying is some rec. programs change the settings and that might be the main reson. i'm not a computer expert but i'm just trying to help from my own experience , hope this help .

I'd reformat the hard drive. And then I would reformat my mom's hard drive. And after that, I would install DOS 6.22

Still have the problem after a fresh install, or are you awaiting a different option?

I seem to have deleted my archived Nero files. I don't know why Nero doesn't keep a decent archive of old updates...
