Difference between Powercolor and plaine AIT

I am ordering a 9700 tonight. And want to know the difference between Powercolor and ATI Manufactured cards?

As far as I can tell, besides price, the Powercolor has 260mhz DDR while the ATI has 275mhz DDR

Not much difference, sometimes powered by ATI cards might be clocked lower than stock speeds, but you can always push that up whenever you feel the need. Benchmarks usualyl show similar results.

Can't say that in general. Non-ATi cards come in a wide range of core and memory speeds and configurations, from exactly the same maxed out speed as ATi themselves use, over specially configured cards (e.g. low profile and/or fanless cards) with lower performance, down to extreme budget solutions.
Check what you buy. PowerColor's web site is pretty precise about each model's specifications.

Jarhead is on a distinguished road
I've got a PowerColor 9700 non-Pro. It conforms to the same speeds as the BBA one. Construction quality is also a little bit better than my BBA 9700 Pro as well.
