Port 21 Already in Use?

I have been running WS_FTP Server for awhile to serve up my FTP and decided that I would switch to BulletProof FTP (BPFTP) Server. Well, I did that and got it running for awhile but now it says that the server cannot start. Port 21 may already be in use. I mean it was working just a little while ago. If I start it on Port 22 it will work just fine. So is there like a program to see what is going through whatever port?

And yes I have uninstalled WS_FTP Server.

do you have port 21 to be allowed to be used in your NAT on your router as well as on your firewall? If you are using the firewall that came with Win2k3 Server, you must allow for FTP requests to be allowed to go through.

Yep, I've got both hooked up right. It won't even let me connect from localhost.

Yep, that damn thing started itself up somehow. I wonder how it did that?

if you have it installed, it will start automatically with windows. If you're not going to use it, un-install it.

That's why your port 21 was already in use.
