Get a can of compressed air from best buy or staples and spray the inside of the computer (preferably outside your house) but dont hold the can upside down or it will spray liquid.

I use one of them compressed air cans from staples/office depot. Works very well. Take your PC outside or you'll mess up your bedroom/carpets.

And then your wife will mess you up!

Be careful NOT to blow compressed air into floppy or disc drives.

We also have a small box of attachments that fit on a normal vacuum cleaner that can be used for this purpose. I use the utmost care with this technique, though. Lots of static electricity around vacuum cleaners.

Compressed air canister is the best way to go. I cleaned off my old PC's HSF just by moving the dust off the fan blades with my fingers and just blowing it off. It's hard as hell to clean dust off a heatsink without using compressed air though, heh.

If you order online with coupons and order some other stuff as well, it's like $2 a can and a can can last for around 3-4 cleanings depending how dirty the PC is and how much you waste just having fun blowing the fans.
