Tron 2.0 MP problem

Hi,

I just d/led the multiplayer demo of Tron 2.0 last night. However, when I attempt to connect to an internet game the whole game just exits to the desktop. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and if there is a way to fix it.

Heh, I downloaded that last night also and had a blast with it, lol...

are you able to play singleplayer and have you EVER been successful at joining a multiplayer game or does the game always crash?

random ideas:

1) sp-1 installed?
2) create a new profile
3) keep trying to connect (to same and diff. servers)
4) if you see some warning about LANs when trying to connect, hit cancel...

just some things to get you started so we can get you back on the game grid!

I can play single player but I think the demo only lets me play the cycles by myself...I cant play the disc thing by myself. I have tried connecting to different servers. I dont see a warning....i double click on the game to join...it says loading...then im back at my desktop.....

I got it to work....apparently you DO have to restart the computer when finished installing it

So is this all there is to the game are cycles and discs? That would get boring really quickly...hopefully the full game has more to it.

I am glad you got it to work because my next post was going to get really confusing!!!

Yeah, the demo has only light cycles and discs. Anyway the full version should have a lot more multiplayer goodies and the game will also have a full-fledged single player fps/rpg option. The main character is the son of the hero from the movie TRON so you just know the MCP is going to be seeking some major payback!
