Need a little help with a site

I have created a new site that is something like this one, a self help community, the problem is that I am having a hard time getting conversations started on the site, and getting the content in it...

I am not looking to promote my site here, as I am based in London, Ontario. But I am looking to get a little help in the forums with some questions and answers...

If any of you wouldn't mind helping out a little and posting a question and answer in the forums that would be a great help...

Just a suggestion, I have found that when there is a forum with little members its a good idea to have as little about of categories as possible.

your site looks ok but why is there a big empty black space above the header and around the page like a border? I think eveerything else looks fine but you've jumped into the ring with some serious competition. Its going to be hard to get alot of trsffic on a new tech site with so many popular sites already out there....but I wish you the best of luck on it.

I've got to agree with e980238...it looks like your trying to overlaod the site with too much stuff. IMO Keep It Simple Silly
