epox 8rda+ nic or lan?is it worth it??

i installed my old dlink nic card when i installed my new mobo. now after installing the nforce drivers off of the cd,i get this little nic icon that says my cable is disconnected.

i was curious if the onboard lan or nic or whatever its called,is it better than my el cheapo nic card i already installed?? is it worth using the onboard rather than the installed card?

everything works so good now,i hate to mess with it,but i will if need be.

Is it the nVidia interface? I used it for a while on my A7N8X Deluxe and liked it.
