Yes its possible to do that. You would have to hook up your tape deck to your PC thru your sound card. Also need a program to record the music. Not sure what to use. I will try and find you the link. Here's some info on this subject from tech tv:

I was thinking of doing this as well as recording some of my records. You would need to buy an Y adaptor so you can hook up the rca jacks from tape deck or stereo. You can find these at Radio Shack for about $6.00 :
