Fbi in my restart??

WEll..i decided to use the recovery disc..on from compaq 900 to my compaq 700..so yeah..now everytime i restart..it just says..windows protection error..need to restart..so i restart..and the same..before this thing shows up..it says..loading from system.sav.FBI something else..well i cant even get into my windows....what can i do?ohh yeah i already tried reinstalling windwos XP yeah it works..but then my Sound is all icky poo poo Profanity Deleted more appropriate word substituted...i mean i cant hear nothing at all..and it says that is workin properly when i check it in hardware devices..but hey..need some help

the model numbers from compaq dont really mean much - we need your system specs

it seams the disc is trying to ghost your drive which wont work if its from the wrong machine becuase instalation of an os if different for every combination of parts

install xp from normal xp disc and then try installing sound card drivers to fix your sound
