Failure: You must Register ActiveX Control VVWEB.OCX

HI,

I downloaded and installed Xenorate Multimedia Player on windows98. The program failed due to the following error:

ID: 999
Class: TXAplication is terminated because initializing failed.
You must register ActiveX control VVWEB.OCX to run Xenorate.

Go to Start->Run and enter regsvr32 vvweb.ocx, if it doesn't respond find the paths for regsvr32.exe and vvweb.ocx and type the full paths in.

Wolf is correct.... although I usually go into command line to do it because the OCX isn't always in the path.

Do a search on your HD for the vvweb.ocx. Once you've found it go to that directory in command line. Then run the regsvr32 vvweb.ocx

Its also possible the install was borked. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. It may also be a bad download so maybe try re-downloading the application.
