i dont see nothing when the computer starts up is there a other place where i can find the info

Does it jump straight into the windows splash screen when starting? Or does it count the RAM, show the drives, etc first? That's the screen you need to check.

Daniel.. you will see the BIOS string Mic refers to at about the same time you see the memory counting up when you start your computer. It's usually a VERY long string of numbers/letters.

If all else fails I have a couple utilities at home that I can send you that you run and they give you a bunch of info about your system including (hopefully) the MoBo mfg and model. I will have to send them tomorrow if this isn't resolved B4 then.

Ok, that tells me it's an A-Trend mobo. Just gotta find a manual now.

Ok, found a manual.

Doesn't say where the temp sensor is (doesn't even have a board schematic! ), but as it has a CPU fan header, would presume it's under the CPU (ie inside the Socket).

So, in answer to your original question, I'd surmise the temp is for the CPU. And 32C is fine for a Cyrix 686 IMO.
