Would 300W power supply be enough for this setup?

Would 300W power this setup (future setup)?:

Asus A7N8X
2700+ XP Processor
Sapphire Radeon 9200 128DDR
512 PC2100 DDR
2 Red Cathode Lights
1 UV Cathode Light

Right now I hope its not damaging anything but 300W is powering (current setup):

Athlon 1333 mhz
Sapphire Radeon 9200 128DDR
256 PC2100 DDR

Will 300W power my future setup? And is 300W damaging anything on my current setup?

the lights will need about 50 watts total assuming 2 per 2 red (40) and 1uv cathode (10). I think your pushing it with 300. 400 might be a better option cuz of the radeon your installing.

50 WATTS?!!! How do you figure? A typical 12" CCFL draws about 350 milliamps at 12 VDC. 12 X .350 = 4.2 Watts. I've also heard that they draw even less amps than that, I don't know. Anyway, if your PC is currently running with a 300W PSU, and you're not having any problems, than it should be fine for now. When you upgrade, it'll probably still be ok, but why chance it? PSU's are pretty cheap these days, and it's the heart of your sytem. If you're going to rebuild, spend the extra money and get a good quality PSU with plenty of room for expansion. I'd go with at least a 430W PSU. But hey, I'm like Tim-the-tool-man-Taylor.... More power, ARGH, ARGH, ARGH!!

Well, that 500W is probably generic and using inflated wattage numbers. Get an Antec greater than or equal to 350W and you'll be fine.

Antec = Highest quality power supplies
Enermax = Next choice
.
.
.
Generic = Last choice (even if it's "rated" higher)

if you want a cheap power supply that will work in that system , i have almost the same system using the power supply i am about to link , get this one for 23$ shipped it is even dual fan . http://store.yahoo.com/akidacomputer/acpowsup50du.html
my system has a ti4200 instead and it runs it fine . only bad thing about it is it doesn't have alot of conectors so you will have to daisychain . but thats not a big deal .
