ati 9700 difference ?

Was thinking of getting a new video card and needed to know what the difference was between the Radeon 9700 and a Radeon 9700 pro?
Is it worth the extra money for the Pro?

the nonpro is just and underclocked version of the pro. 270/540 verses 310/620. The nonpro versions are rare, or at least I havent seen many. The pro is obviously faster and if you can afford it I would say go for the pro, I have one and it is brilliant.

Thanks for the info kjg , just trying to get ready for HalfLife 2 and Doom 3 and the ATi cards seem the way to go right now.

A quick search on Pricewatch turned up this deal:

$200 is a good deal for a 9700 Pro. Notice I said "Pro", as it's not that hard to download PowerStrip and clock the card back up to where it should be
