Whats a good gaming mobo compatible with ATI Radeon's?
My board is getting old and i've heard it has problems with the radeon cards (i have a sapphire radeon 9200). I have also heard ASUS has some problems with Radeon cards. I was thinking about getting the "Asus A7V8X-X" mobo because ASUS is "top-of-the-line". Any problems with radeon cards on this board? Would emailing ASUS and asking help, or emailing ATI? Or would they just say "it has no problems, go buy one"? If you guys have any other good brand/model mobo's please post!
Thanks

It has no problems, go buy one! lol. You could also pick up a Epox 8rda. They are down to under 100, rock solid, and support your radeon card.

Were they using a Radeon card? Are they serious gamers?

I have all EPOX mobos and I'm building a new system with the EPOX 8RDA+ and a Radeon 9700. So far EPOX's boards have been top of the line feature packed, preformance pill poppin insane mobo's. I love there tech support to, very easy to contact and fairly knowlegble.
I too would suggest the 8RDA+. For $83 at newegg.com it has very nice preformance and great stability! I have an EPOX 8K9A2+ which is a KT-400 based board with SATA RAID, ATA/133 RAID and tons of sweet features like that but its just not as fast as the 8RDA+.

Hah, I emailed Sapphire and look what they gave me:
"Matt,
So far the Radeon 9200 will work fine with all motherboard model and brand.
Tech"
This COULD be true, but I don't think so. I already bought the card so I dont think they are urging me thats its compatible with everything so I buy it.
