Winrar files

Hi, I hope someone can help me, I can't seem to download winrar files, when I click on them it starts to download the file straight to a temporary folder instead of asking me where I want to save the file, then when it's downloaded to this "temporary" location, I get a message saying it can't opn the file. It was fine until about a week ago, does anyone know why I can't download these winrar files any more???

Thanks
Ben

Try right clicking the hyperlink or file and chose "save target".

Welcome to techimo. Instead of just clicking on them right-click then click "Save As" from there you can tell it where you want it to go.

I tried right clicking, all it does is waits for about 60 seconds then times out and says it cant find the file.

It might be that the files you are looking for are no longer hosted at the same place but the links havent been up dated. ie dead links
