javascript

i am running xp pro with ie 6 with all the latest updates when i go to certain pages i get a javascript error at the left hand bottom of my browser how can i fix these errors. i tried the sfc checker for corrupt files that did not fix the problem even some other browsers did the same i have something wrong with my machine in some settings somewhere that need to be reset or something can anyone help pls

You probably need to reduce the security level that IE is set to. It may be set to block java script from running.

It's possible that the javascript is coded poorly or coded for a different browser and not 100% compatible. Do you want to share a link to the page?

ok here is the link it's ttzforums.com sorry it is another forum but we can have all more than one the whole page doesn't load check it out i have another but it is encrypted for me only a isp site sorry can't share that one but it doesn't work either

I've never had any problems getting into ttz and still works fine now.

ok

ok so for me it justs gives me an error page cannot load or cannot find server. u got any ideas pls help there is something wrong

Seems to work fine in IE6. Is that what you are using?

In IE go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and deselect "disable script debugging" and restart IE
If you go to the offending web page and get the JS error (which I assume is a yellow triangle on the status bar), double click the triangle and you should now get a clearer picture of what the scripting error is. If the error message is not clear to you, post the details on here
