ddr 2700 or 3200 ?

I am about to purchase an epox 8rda+. I have heard about ddr 400 not having all the kinks worked out yet and was wondering if I should just buy 2700 or just go ahead and buy the 3200?

Oh yeah, I was looking at the crucial ram and there 2700 has a cl of 2.5 but there 3200 has 3.0. is it worth it getting the 3200 if the cl is lower?

Thank you for your help,
Christopher

There aren't any problems with PC3200, but PC2700 does run at lower latency timings at this time. I you're noit going to buy a 400mhz FSB processor for the board then your fastest solution would probably be PC2700.

I run PC3200 (Corsair XMS) on my A7N8X Deluxe without a problem, but know I could get more speed from PC2700

if you ask me, go with 2700, since the difference aint as big as they say, just trying to pull more money from us
plus in a while the pc3200 will drop in price and you can upgrade later if you want

one thing to consider, what is your CPU's FSB ? I always try to match these two
