Opinions on Sager as a gaming machine?

I've seen a lot of people very happy with Sager laptops floating around. A buddy of mine is looking for a machine he can take to work and game on (they can't have games on the machines there, but they don't care if he brings a laptop and games at work - Everyone pick your chins up now...). I was looking through Sager's stuff and comparing it to other stuff that I knew and it looks like they are pretty well built for the price.

Anyone got an opinion either way, or a recommendation for a better gaming machine? Dell and Alienware are out of the question.

IMHO a laptop will never satisfy you if you want to play games, a laptop is strictly a business machine, I have a p-3-800 with 512mb ram and I cant even play an avi without killing myself

just my 2 cents

That's silly, my P3 700 with 128MB of RAM plays anything just fine.
