Is this really a Audigy2 card?

I recently bought an Audigy2 card, but when I install the drivers I get in Device Manager that I have a SB Audigy card (not A2). The same in Speaker settings it says SB Audigy (E800).
On the chips on the soundcard it says Audigy2.

Shouldn't it say Audigy 2 in both Device Manager and Speaker settings?

No, it's fine, that's just what it reads it as.

I have installed the newest driver and tried to change to another pci-slot, but it still detects as an Audigy1 card.
When I play the game BloodRayne it also detects as an Audigy1. I don't know if I it has anything to say on the quality I get from the card, Audigy Vs. Audigy2.

Are there any major differences between the Audigy and Audigy2 anyway? I had read that while the original Audigy claimed to support 24-bit/96KHz, all it would play was the 16-bit/48KHz sound. Was actually looking to buy one or the other for music and DVD playback.

Yea the Audigy 2 can actualy playback 24/96, so it would be better for music play back expecialy if you plan on listening to DVD - audio, which rocks.
