Critique my watercooling plan...

I don't have anywhere to host pictures, otherwise I would scan some drawings, so I'll do my best to describe this...

The flow of water is like this:

Reservoir ---> Pump ----> Radiator ---->Tubing is split with a Y connector ---> Each offshoot goes to another Y connector, which gives us a total of four different tubing offshoots -----> Each offshoot cools one waterblock for the; CPU, GPU, Hard drive, and the chipset. ----> Then three more Y connectors are used to reverse the tubes back into a single strain, which connects back to the reservoir.

I will be bulding my own reservoir, modeling it after the Innovatek Tank-O-Matic http://xoxide.com/tankomatic.html

I still don't know what pump I will be using. What I get will probably have to be quite powerful.

Pretty sure I'm going to go with 1/2" tubing.

For the waterblocks, I'm stuck between the Innovateks or the Danger Dens.

I'm still looking for a decent radiator online. Originally I was going to get the reasonably priced maxxpert, but the only place I could find them at was out of stock.
With four things to cool, I might even want to double up two radiators to be safe.

So... How feasable does this sound?

Looks like you've got the flowpath figured out.

For a pump, I recommend a Via Aqua 1300. Pushes 370GPH at 0ft head. There are a lot of people who complain the Via gets too hot, or is too noisy, or is poor quality, but those are the people who pay 6-8x as much for an Eheim 1250, that pushes LESS water and puts off MORE heat...I got mine for $12...I have a site bookmarked that shows you how to make it much quieter too

Again, I would go with a Dangerden block, but you can also look at D-tek's...they're supposedly pretty good. Innovatek's logically should not cool very well...and that's shown in tests

for a radiator, Xoxide will have that Maxxpert in stock in a little over a week (at least that's what they told me). http://www.dtekcustoms.com/product.asp?3=103
That is almost IDENTICAL to the heatercore from a '76-'87 Chevrolet Chevette...you can get that unpainted for $30 from them, but you'll need to buy a fan shroud, or bend some fins screwing a fan in....that Maxxpert has holes to mount a 120mm fan already.

You may have to have a few adapters in places for the 1/2" tubing...one example would be the radiator with it's 3/8" (fitted for 5/16" tubing) connections.

I'm worried all these Y connectors and will cause excessive cavitation and hinder my water flow.

I'm also questioning if the maxxpert can handle cooling four things by itself, especially when it's not even the best in it's class according to these guys:

Looking at that website you gave me, they do not sell the maxxpert as far as I can tell...

But they do sell the D-tek radiator... How good is that one?

People say it's excellent, it's identical to Chevette heatercores though...

I read that thread, the one guy complaining about it is recommending a radiator designed for 80mm fans...which would not be as quiet as a 120mm...so of course it's going to be bigger.

It makes 12 passes through copper tubes and aluminum fins...it can't cool poorly. I have a heater core off some other vehicle (I don't know what, my father got it from his friend) that I'm going to test against it when I get my setup running.
