PowerDVD XP 5.0 Deluxe

I just upgrade to CyberLink's new PowerDVD XP 5.0 Deluxe. It's totally hot! Great new sound features for a range of speaker configurations, including DTS and Dolby Surround for headphones. I also noticed an increase in the video quality. A lot of new features to play with. I thought I would pass it on. The upgrade was only $14.95 US dollars, and was a short download. I'm a happy customer.

I hadn't even noticed that they had 5.0 out yet.

Where's the link for the $14.95 upgrade? Is that price only for full users of 4.0 or does it work for 4.0 XP? The only price I saw was for the regular full package.

I use it too. Very nice feature. Configurable to a large extent.

Hey Nighthawk,

I got my original PowerDVD XP 4.0 version, which has 6 channel capabilities, with my Hercules Muse DVD 5.1 sound card. I did an upgrade patch a few months back, and I am a registered user. They sent me an email just this weekend about 5.0 Deluxe.

They have several upgrade options with different price breaks. It depends which version you currently have, but they do a good job of explaining that. Here's the link.

BTW. I use the Dolby headphone option last night with my Sennheiser headphones, and it blew me away!
